BRAIDS
I was actually looking for a perfect post title but eventually came up with this. How are you all doing? I decided to blog about this hairstyle because I started to get compliments on it. So this is it, it is just the simple underbraids popularly known as the ‘adimole’.
I just wanted to get my hair together and not just leave it like that, so I decided to get the underbraids done in a ponytail (suku) at a salon very close to our house, I did not just want to leave it just this way.
More so because my hair is not very long, so, I got some marley hair to add to the tip to give it life.
You only need three things to get your bun done - Marley hair (depending on how big you want your bun to be) - Bobby pins -Rubber band Tie the rubber band round the Marley hair like this
Attach the rubber band and Marley hair to the ponytail
Twist the Marley hair loosely Wrap it round and pin it down
Pin also all necessary parts
And your bun is ready, that’s all!!!
This style does not last me for more than a week because I have a lot of natural hair already.(The pictorials above were taken on the third day).
Another important tip I will like to share with you guys is stretching your hair (if natural) very well before getting your braids done, it makes the work easy for your stylist, reduces breakage when weaving the hair and of course reduces pain.
Moisturizing the hair every night with water also gets the hair rough quickly(for natural hair but fine with relaxed hair), so I just moisturize lightly with my leave-in-conditioner (Organics hair mayonnaise) and seal with olive oil.
